Wishing you all Merry Christmas . . .

the OscarBlog |

Although you won’t be receiving a card from them this year, the hoopeeps (and furpal . . . that’s me!) at LimeCloud wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy & Healthy New Year.  Instead of sending cards though, a donation has been made to my favourite friends at Border Terrier Welfare so they can continue to do the brilliant work they do all year round, looking after my furpals who have fallen on harder times.

Community

My BTPosse pals on twitter do a concert every year that is just to spread the joy and love for us border terriers . . . well who wouldn’t love us?  Anyone interested can find it using the hashtag #BTXmas on twitter & it is produced by my good pal, Sir Thomas A Terrier.  I have seen the list of pawformers, a truly international cast, and am sure it will raise a few laughs!  Last year it raised over £1,000 for Border Terrier Welfare, not bad for a social media gathering of little brown dogs.

But it got me thinking about how important community is at Christmas, whether that be spending time with friends and family, or sparing a thought for those in the wider community who may be alone or in an unsafe situation.  However you choose to spend your time, make sure that you connect with people this Christmas, be present with them. And if you can’t be with them physically, reach out to make sure they know you are thinking of them, the advances in tech make communication so much easier these days.

Festive Season Office Closure

Make sure you get time for down time too, adequate rest is key when running your own business, to recharge and be ready for the year ahead.  No doubt for those in retail, it is a particularly busy time in the run up to Christmas and then the sales immediately after.

We will be taking some time off this Christmas.  Estelle has made the trip over to New Zealand to visit her family, a pilgrimage she makes every few years.

The office will be closed from 5pm on Thursday 21 December 2017 and we will be returning to work 9am on Wednesday 3 January 2018.

Emails will be monitored during this period, so if your need is urgent please do send us a message, but be aware that we may not be able to respond as promptly.

Whatever you are up to over the festive break, hopefully you will get some time to enjoy the nature around, it’s a lovely time of year for a bracing walk in the sunshine, splashing through muddy puddles, or even chasing snowballs.  Either way I am not fussy, just so long as I get out and get to do zoomies.  And obviously, I’ll be hanging my stocking up on Christmas Eve, hoping Santa knows I’ve been a really good boy and that I get some nommy treats!
