Due to expansion, we are pleased to announce that we have recently appointed Estelle Sherlock as Operations Manager who will be based in our office in South Molton, Devon.
Estelle has worked in the services sector most of her career, beginning with helping in her parent’s business in Christchurch New Zealand, processing and fulfilling orders for x-ray equipment to be dispatched to customers nationwide. After moving to the UK in 1999, she began the new millennium as a conveyancing assistant, working for a large firm of solicitors situated close to the River Wye in Herefordshire. On relocating to North Devon, Estelle took up work as a receptionist/administrator for a growing firm of financial advisers with several West Country offices, she took a career break to bring up her two sons and on returning to the workplace, quickly being promoted to senior support, then office manager and finally operations manager.
A new challenge
Looking for a new challenge, Estelle met LimeCloud’s Director, Paula over a gin and tonic and was suitably impressed and excited by the prospect of becoming part of the team, she will be working closely with Paula on a daily basis. On accepting the position, Estelle said “I am delighted to have the opportunity to work within a company that has such a fresh and modern approach to business. I can see a real emphasis on doing things right, right from the beginning, and there is no better foundation for growth”.
Despite being a kiwi at heart, Estelle is passionate about the outdoor playground that Devon offers, with the diversity of expansive beach, wild moorland and endless coastal paths, there is always a picturesque running route nearby. With her partner, Martin, and two boys, Estelle enjoys exploring Dartmoor and Exmoor, whatever the weather, wildlife spotting and geocaching. She can also often be found at Instow beach, a glass of wine or G&T in hand.
Director Paula Byers expressed her excitement on adding Estelle to the team, “Her skills will be invaluable to the progression and development of the company and this represents a significant step forward in our growth plan. Being from New Zealand is just a bonus that will give her an instant affinity with Xero and many of the Apps that we work with. Most importantly, Oscar has met her and given her the nod of approval!
